THE DEFINITION OF THE TERMS USED

The online platform is the means of remote communication which presents an offer to participate at the ASN 2023 European Conference.

Online registration  or  asncluj2023.ro  represents the online platform for the registration of participants (natural persons) by the Romanian Institute for Research on National Minorities (Organiser) and its partners.

Visitors/Participants  are persons who use the online platform  asncluj2023.ro .

The  Organiser  represents the legal entity and its partners that operate the  asncluj2023.ro  platform.

A  remote contract  represents the agreement concluded between a Participant and the Organiser and its partners pursuant to this act, without the need for personal contact.

Registration  is the request submitted online by a Participant for registration to the ASN 2023 European Conference.

The  registration fee  represents the amount due for registration/participation at the ASN 2023 European Conference using the online platform  asncluj2023.ro .

Transaction:  collection or refunding of the registration fee.

REGISTRATION OF PARTICIPANTS

The registration of Participants is carried out exclusively online, by using the platform operated by the Organiser.

In order to register, Participants shall fill out the online form provided on the  asncluj2023.ro  website, select the applicable registration fee and make the payment.

Registration fees may be paid by card through the online payment service provider Netopia S.r.l.. Registration fees indicated on the  asncluj2023.ro  website are expressed in EUR, but payment will be made in LEI at a fixed exchange rate which will be the same for each Participant for the entire registration period and which will be displayed before making the payment.

Participants have the possibility to cancel their registration up to June 16, 2023 the latest. In this case, they are entitled to a refund of 70% of the registration fee paid.

The Organiser reserves the right to refuse the registration of a Participant. In this case, the Participant will be notified in writing (e-mail).

THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA (PRIVACY POLICY)

If Visitors/Participants contact the Organiser with questions, registration or other requests, etc., the Organiser shall keep and process the information provided only for purposes of answering questions/requests. Data processing in this context is carried out according to the provisions of Art. 6 (1) b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Data introduced by Participants during the registration process are treated confidentially by the Organiser and they shall not be transmitted to third parties. However, the Organiser shall not be held liable for any unauthorised or abusive use of these data by third parties which happens without the knowledge and for reasons beyond the control of the Organiser (for ex. cyberattack).

The Organiser has the right to collect different information about the Visitors/Participants that use the online platform, but these may be transmitted to its partners only within the limits of the law on the protection and security of personal data. The data processed may not be used for the identification of persons.

Participants take note that they may receive promotional e-mails.

The Organiser only uses the personal data of Participants if compelled by law or if this is necessary to defend its interests.

THE RESPONSIBILITY OF PARTICIPANTS

Participants accept the condition that the Organiser has the right to refuse/modify their registration. Persons who do not use the system according to the terms herein and in compliance with good manners shall be suspended.
